BIOGRAPHIES

I have written or co-written 30 books on commission for families through a service I call "The Story of Our Lives." My clients have included TCBY founder Frank Hickingbotham, prominent Little Rock couple Ed and Evelyn Penick, Bataan Death March survivor Cletis Overton, and Willie Oates, "The Arkansas Hat Lady."

MY BIO

I was the editor of The Benton Courier and Malvern Daily Record newspapers and won 16 statewide awards, including one for producing the best editorial page among all dailies in Arkansas.

I served from 2003-06 as Arkansas Lt. Governor Win Rockefeller's communications director, where I prepared talking points for speeches, wrote press releases, and handled media relations. From 1997-99, I served as a communications assistant for Gov. Mike Huckabee, where I wrote the governor's weekly radio address, prepared talking points for speeches, ghostwrote articles, and wrote press releases.
